In the process of looking up my favorite veneer mill to order some ribbonstripe mahogony, I found that their updated website has gorgeous pictures of most of the species of veneer they carry. If you ever wondered what paduak looks like, or quilted maple, pommele sapeleŽ or fiddleback makoreŽ, then this is the site:

Veneering accents on your new wood boat is not that hard - I suggest it highly - use epoxy or polyurethane.

Great source, Kevin for plywood with these veneers already on - thanks. The photos on the certainly wood site are loads better, and not long to download at all. They must have scanned the woods directly on the scanner possibly. Loved the Lymans at the show, as well as the antique CC's. There is an '03 CC yacht in the Moore (?) dealership section with beautiful Art Deco interior design in cherry. We want to go again, so let me know when you'll be there tomorrow. - JB

Thanks for two great sites. I had been looking for something like this to identify the wood in a furniture piece that needs some matching wood. Turns out it's Walnut Burl.

I've buying veneer from these folks for 15 years or so. Great service and as good a selection as you can hope for. tongue.gif
