If this turns out poorly, who are we to blame? Might as well work it out now.

a)The Democrats
b)The Media
c)Jacques Chirac
d)Anyone Who Said It Wouldn't Work Out, ie Traitors
e)The UN
g)The Iraqis
i)Bill Clinton
j)Hillary Clinton
k)Hans Blix
l)Ralph Nader, for not letting reality interfere with his convictions.
m)Robert Dork, for favoring a goofy beard over a balanced Supreme Court.

Tom Daschle!!

Christopher Columbus! ;)

Dan Quayle :D

My opponent knows less about national defense than I know about spelling. Even I know it's Cruise missiles, not Patriot missiles that go through doors and chimneys.

Excellent, Roger - why not go back to the beginning!

I'm changing my vote and going with Columbus too, but I still want to blame Daschle for something.

Clinton. It's always Clintons fault (except for when it's Hillary's.

Or we could blame the idiot with the Napoleanic fantasy who has dragged us into it and the Congress who abdicated their constitutional duty to him.

Might be a better choice.

Well, Nicholas you may be on to something - who was President when the inspectors were kicked out and did nothing about it? I think his initials were bill clinton.

03-19-2003, 07:46 PM
Who was president while Saddam's nuclear program was being dug up and destroyed?

Jesus Christ, my man Bill?

Blame the Brits. Had they won the Revolutionary War we wouldn't be where we are today. Kicking Damsad's a**.

Oh yea, edit that do do! :D

Yeah, well, guess who was president while Saddam's nuclear program was being dug up and destroyed. My man Bill wasn't looking for a war, your man George is the only one who thought it had to go this way.

When it doesn't go well, I will blame the same people I blamed before it started. Cheney,Rummy,Ashcroft,Condi,GHWB, and yes.... I even blame the little marrionette himself. The obviousy drugged up Dubya.

Mrleft8 - any room for clinton in that little party - or did this whole thing start in 2000? Oops, couldn't have - you included #41.

03-20-2003, 07:49 AM

I blame myself. If only I'd had the vision to see us past this mess....

Yes, anti-Bush, not anti-war. Oh, you say anti-war also? Then why did the U.S. and its president spend all that money on Tomahawk missles during the 90's. What a waste. Look at impact on the economy. We could have been taking care of Tom Dashle's mother, that was eating dog food and missing out on her medicines. Tom, what in the world were you thinking about, that oil and pipeline being built for the Bush family? Man you guys are protecting the "Scum" in this country. HEHE :D

OK. Instead of blame how about progress?
Remember Pres. Kennedy vow to have a man on the moon in a decade?
Well Pres. Bush can have a man on Uranus in a week!

I like to think of this as reading Conrad, Burton, and Graham Greene in real time. Problem with war is it opens a pandora's box.

Mike, I thought it was Gephart' mum who was eating dog food - oh no! She was missing her meds, Guess it was Daschle's mum with the Alpo. My question, why on earth aren't these lay-abouts takin care of their mommas?! Guess if they did, they couldn't use them for examples. ;)

edited Gephart' = Gephart's

Come on Donn. I certainly don't blame the troops. I support their commitment to their duty. I wouldn't go so far as encouraging anyone to blindly follow orders that they may find morally wrong.
It's the "regime" in Washington that I'm not supporting.

Oyster, he blacked out during those years smile.gif Seems a lot of people did - they go straight from blaming 41 to 43 and where the heck did 42 go? Well we know where he went and with who, but how did he make all the liberal guys forget about him completely when they start throwing blame around?

Your not going to see me defending Clinton's morals... But I certainly don't think he has anything to do with this aggresion towards Iraq.

Nah, clinton was agressive towards other places. Specially when somebody was fixin to testify about his proclivities. He got mighty aggressive then!

I don't blame the Democrats or Republicans or the left or the right, conservative or liberal. I blame the ACTIONS of this administration. I believe it is wrong to invade another country. I think to place thousands of our soldiers and American civilians in US cities at risk just to get one mad man is wrong. ( currently my wife and I have to walk past soldiers in Grand Central with Geiger counter, we didn't have to do that YESTERDAY) I believed the previous administration was WRONG in a lot of ways as well and I was critical of the Clinton administration too. I am often critical of Liberal thinking but I don't USE whole groups to BLAME other GROUPS. Its nauseating to hear Stan et all blame LIBERAL thinking like its a plague. At time's I think Liberally at other times I think conservatively, Stan is the only person I know that thinks ONE WAY ALL THE TIME.

03-20-2003, 10:01 AM
This is hilarious. If the war goes badly, you would seek to blame the very people who were against it.

My list:

a) GWB
b) Cheney
c) Rumseld
e) Rice
f) Wolfowitz

and ...

g) GB Sr. (for leaving the mess in the first place)

Take that farty pants

I can agree with Scott Rosen on one thing, I'm tired of the Blame game.
