Thanks, Guys! I hope I'm doing this right - I've never posted to Wooden Boat before. Phil is outside putting his boat to bed and I want you all to know what a great day this has been. All the helpful suggestions, the support and assistance from the forum guys have finally given Floozie the shove - into the water, that is. (I especially liked the suggestion "get her wet for Chrissake!") Our son took half a day off, joined us at the Delaware River and we launched at last. Floozie looked great, loved the water and skimmed along at a comfortable pace. What a great moment for Phil. As soon as
Floozie lifted off the trailer he took a sort of victory lap to the middle of the river and back grinning like a kid at Christmas - and he's hasn't stopped smiling smiling since. Thanks for all your kind words and support - you all share in this day. Phil's SWIMBO

How many scoops does it take to make a Floozie Float? ;) :D

Great news. I hope you brought the camera. What a feeling. 'Grinning like a kid at Christmas' I love it. :D

Mrs. Phil, Thanks for the update! After she sunk in the driveway a while back, I had concerns. Stuff his chest back in his shirt, and make him post some pics...ok?

Yes, congratulations!!! Give Phil a big pat on the back for me. I have been following his progress and have been pleased all along the way; but this is the big one. ;)
Congratulations once again! smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif
