My savage breast has just been soothed by this song, sung by Nancy Griffiths and international players/singers.
It is such a beatiful song and tune, but it has left me feeling lonely.
So this is a proposal to anyone who will sing this to me.

Who knows where the time goes

Across the evening sky
all the birds are leaving.
But how could they know
that itís time for them to go?
Before the winter fire
I will still be dreaming,
I have no thought of time,
for who knows where the time goes?
and who knows where the time goes?

Sad deserted shores,
your fickle friends are leaving,
but how can they know
when itís time for them to go.
But I will still be here,
I have no thought of leaving.
I do not count the time,
for who knows where the time goes?
and who knows where the time goes?

And I am not alone
while my love is near.
I know it will be so,
till itís time for me to go.
So come the storms of winter
and bring the birds in spring again.
I have no fear of time,
for who knows how my love grows?
and who knows where the time goes?

I believe that the TV clip shewn was with some Irish and Nova Scotian musicians. Do you know anything about it Donn? I saw the original series that it was from but I can't remember what it was.
Or does anyone out there know of this recording?
Still no proposals though.

Rex, I don't know where it goes, time, lives, friends and love. A strong cord cut from mother to child at birth or dwindling threads and memories . Tell you what,, I'll give my dad a call and you go toss the ball with your dog.

Even a savage breast is better than no breast.
