Mind if I pull up a chair?

Ya' gotta love internet radio and DSL. :D

Leadbelly, eh?

Beale Street Caravan comes on Saturday night at 11:00 on my old favorite, Ohio University Public Radio, WOUB-FM. http://www.woub.org/

I don't think I could have survived the move to eastern WV without internet radio to get WOUB. They have great local programming. Wonderful adult music every weeknight on "Crossing Boundaries," and "Live from the Fur Peace Ranch" Fridays at 7:00. Great eclectic mix on "Below the Salt" Sunday mornings 8:00 to 11:00. They even have good bluegrass on Sunday afternoon.

Cheers, fellas!

The only local public radio I can get here (Virginia Tech PR) is still stuck in classical music days and jazz(?) nights. The other local choices are country music and one oldies station. (They located the National Radio Astronomy Observatory a few miles north of here because it's very "quiet" from a radio-frequency standpoint in this mountain valley.)

BTW, WOUB also broadcasts on 91.3.

Way cool!

One of my favorites is the Siegel Schwall band with the SFO symphony when Ozawa was there. That rocks!

Pretty good, except I'm spending waaaay too much time remodeling the house we bought and not nearly enough time fishing.

Ah there it is. Believe it or not it's sometimes hard to get good Blues on the radio right here in Memphis.

I really need to figure out a way to pipe this music from the computer to other rooms in the house. How'm I supposed to get any work done? :D
