Got the boat inspected and passed with flying colors from Wildlife and Fisheries at 9 a.m. this morning. Got my hull ID number and had a great chat with the agent.
Came home. 11 a.m. My wraparound cowling was in. Polished it up and put it on. Looks great.
12 noon: Raining pitchforks and little George Armstrong Custers outside. Forecast: Rest of the day, and Saturday.
There is no justice. :(
May be for the better Roger. You wouldn't want to spoil that pretty boat by getting it wet. ;)

Bummer. You gotta stop telling everybody that you're going to take a vacation. Take "pop" days off when the weather's nice.
Of course, you could always go out in the rain...the fish are already wet anyway. :D

Hang in there, Roger! There is justice... sometimes it's just a little hard to see or not quite as quick as we'd like ;)
You've done good work!

As I remember, Custer actually ended up not being around too long. You, too, will prevail! (I love that imagery.)

I hate to ask this rog. You have been great with photos, and believe me, i have everyone one of them along with the videos stored on my hard drive under a folder named "Rez-man"
But..
You think we can get one more photo, this time with the cowling attached... ???...
I need a poster girl for my garage so my "zip" will have a role model!.

Sure, Rob...I'd be glad to, and a wee bit honored, too! smile.gif I'll take some tomorrow, if the dadgum rain gives me a break!
Think I should send some pics to Glen-L?

And if they don't use them as a prime example of the beautiful boat that can be built from their "Zip" plan, they would be missing a fine opportunity.
We had your rain here today, too. Tomorrow's supposed to be better here. I hope it's a better weather day down in bayou country tomorrow, too.
Any career choice, yet?

Rog. YES!.. send them to Glen-L. I am surprized that you have not used the registry there.. I have been sending in updates as my zip progresses. Of course you have your own website so there may be no need for that, but it is still fun nonetheless
I believe that glen-L prefers that you actually send in prints via snail mail so that they can scan then to the resolution and size that they want. I don't know if they send them back or not.. They have a whole section on the topic there at the website.
my boat definatley needs a role model. With your zip's picture in the garage she won't have to keep on looking at the neighbor's $30,000 Ski Nautique and wonder why she is made of wood.

Roger.........At least it's not snowing. :D Glen-L should post a picture of your boat on their home page. It's a great example of whats possible.
