Which candidates made the following statements?

1)"If there's pattern of just exaggeration and stretches to try to win votes, it says something about leadership as far as I'm concerned, because once you're the president, you can't stretch.”

2) "It's a pattern of just saying whatever it takes to win," Asked whether the discrepancy was a big deal, he said "There's a pattern of exaggerations and stretches to try to win votes, and it says something about leadership."

3) " (Candidate Blank) has described these presidential debates as a job interview with the American people, I've learned over the years that when somebody embellishes their resume in a job interview, you don't hire them."

Joe, you win the prize for getting tow out of three. 1 and 2 were Bush quotes and 3 was his VP Cheney.

They were all quotes from the 2000 campaign castigating Gore for incorrectly stating in one of the debates that he had visited a Texas disaster scene with James Witt the FEMA director. As you may recall, it turned out that Gore had not visited the Texas disaster sceme with Witt.

He had visited Texas with a FEMA official and he had visited other disaster areas with Witt.

(No WMDs were found at either location.)
