This gives you a better idea of Sonja's seams. I'm trying to fit a plank one up from the garboard. The garboards were fine so I'll save them both. The keel planks are a light tight fit, but I'm convinced, as are some of you, that I should open them up a little.

And she let me buy a new tool. It's yellow and on the stool. I've never used a keyless chuck. Where've I been?

I still plan to sail this year.

Wow! Lot's of progress! (But just how are you gonna clamp the starboard "mate" for that plank you've just hung? ;) )
Looks like pretty fine work to me. Not sure I'd worry too much about "opening up" those seems, but then I'm no expert. Keep up the good work and keep us posted!
(Edited to add that I'm not sure I've ever said just how "in lust" I am with your boat. Can't wait to see her back in the water and under way again!)

Great work Rich, as usual. You are obviously a worthy custodian of this beautiful old boat.
Did'nt you find the workplace a little claustophobic a location to work from?
Good going.
I can't wait to hear how she sails (again). It looks like you don't have that far to go. I'm also glad that you are doing it right. She should last for a long time!
