'Crats': rodents harass Israeli soldiers
Date: December 31 2003
Israeli soldiers stationed in the tense West Bank city of Hebron have recently been battling an enemy they define as more scary then Palestinian militants: enormous rats.
The rats, lured by piles of garbage in Hebron's streets, have become so daring they have even infiltrated military barracks and bitten at least two heavily armed combat soldiers - one in the ear and the other on the lip, the Israeli newspaper Maariv reported.
The rodents have grown so large that soldiers are calling them the Hebrew equivalent of "crats" due to their increasing similarity to the stray cats, Maariv reported.
Looks like they got one of 'em- strangely familiar.. tongue.gif :D Happy New Year to all!!

The real question is..... What the hell were the soldiers doing to get their lips and ears bit? I've heard that a soldier gets "lonely".... But this is beyond that! :D

Meerkats are Carnivores, order Herpestidae (with the mongoose), not rodents. And the picture's a squirrel. If you're going to be snide and insulting, at least get it right. ;)

You know True Grit, if someone threw gasoline and a match on you, you'd be a flaming furry muscle ring.
As it is, you ought to clench up a little more boy - some of your deeper thoughts are starting to slide out and really stink up the place.

New Years Resolution
http://members.aol.com/intwg/trolls.htm
An Internet "troll" is a person who delights in sowing discord on the Internet. He (and it is usually he) tries to start arguments and upset people.
Trolls see Internet communications services as convenient venues for their bizarre game. For some reason, they don't "get" that they are hurting real people. To them, other Internet users are not quite human but are a kind of digital abstraction. As a result, they feel no sorrow whatsoever for the pain they inflict. Indeed, the greater the suffering they cause, the greater their 'achievement' (as they see it). At the moment, the relative anonymity of the net allows trolls to flourish.
Trolls are utterly impervious to criticism (constructive or otherwise). You cannot negotiate with them; you cannot cause them to feel shame or compassion; you cannot reason with them. They cannot be made to feel remorse. For some reason, trolls do not feel they are bound by the rules of courtesy or social responsibility.
Perhaps this sounds inconceivable. You may think, "Surely there is something I can write that will change them." But a true troll can not be changed by mere words.

Actually I have to say Meerkat has been a very nice person lately. You guys play nice in 2004, okay? I may have to take him sailing in May, if I get to do the trip I hope to do then.
