I think the new high-speed world of WBF needs a link, on the B&R home page, for Jim's B&R FAQ.

I can understand WB's reticence, considering the enormous legal liabilities involved, but I think that a suitable disclaimer could eliminate much of the downside.

Here's a barebones disclaimer. Perhaps some of our legal pugilists could expand it to two or three pages, and Scot could use it to justify a link to the FAQ.

Hillman's Building & Repair FAQ

This FAQ is in no way connected WoodenBoat or it's subsidiaries. It is a thoroughly un-tested contribution by an unknown right-wing Texan, who has searched the archives to compile the list, for reasons unknown.

This link is provided as a convenience to WoodenBoat Forum users, and WoodenBoat assumes no responsibility for the veracity of the largely amateur and unsolicited opinions found herein.

Abandon hope, all ye who enter here.

I don’t even think it needs a legal disclaimer really since all it is a convenient collection of already available posts. Maybe just a description to that effect.

At any rate I would like to add my voice to the call for such a link.
