Dear Sirs,

I need an expert advise on the fastenings. My wooden boat building project calls for 3/8" bronze bolts to fasten 6"x1 3/4" bilge stringers and 6"x2"clamps to the 2" moulded laminated frames. I am unable to locate bronze bolts locally (Blacksea,Turkey) in a short time but may obtain bronze ring nails in 6G and in 3" lenght.

Do these nails perform the same task of bolts?

kind regards,
Cenk

Cenk...Bronze bolts are available from several sources in Odessa and Nikolaev, Ukraine and coastal Romania...
Send e-mail to Andrei Rochian at andrei@yacht.ro and ask for assistance...
it should be relatively inexpensive for freight to your location.
regards,
Chuck
