If old Adolp had tolerated a little more dissent he might've gone down in history smelling like roses. One of those documentaries had an old man who as a government trade rep came back from Russia a week before the invasion, having just negotiated an incredibly favorable business deal with the Russians, something about oil or sugar. When they told him they were invading he just shook his head. Stalin had been giving Germany everything they asked for.
