Last night the wife told me that Stevie Ray had done an album with his brother Jimmy. How she knows this I don't know, that is unless I'm getting it for Christmas. :D

But can any of you confirm or deny the fact that such an album exisit?

Don't know if I've heard of them. What are some of the things they have done?

For some awesome finger style guitar playing check out Harvey Reid and friends at The Seacoast Guitar Society (http://www.seacoastguitar.org)

It was (is) called "Familly style".
A great album (CD). My favorite song on it is "BA-BOOM! Mamma said".

Chad, there is an auto-biography published about SRV. It's called "SRV Caught In The Crossfire." It's an excellent read and tells the story of his life. It's by Joe Nick Patoski and Bill Crawford.

I just e-mailed my wife about that book. She has told me I can't buy anymore books until after Christmas (kinda of hint about what I may be getting). I also hope that she picked up this album.
