after an exstensive going over my spruce over hackmatack strip plank downeast I realised I missed a spot. the ribs are 3/4 thick x 3.5 wide on 6" centers the planks are 1.5 " thick spruce .I found a spongey wet plank down by my shaft log I can press my nail into it easily my question is can I do anything to help the situation now that the boat is in the water ?I realize the plank will have to be replaced is there anyway to help it in the meantime thanks Gary

No, not really. Keep an eye on it and enjoy the boating until your next haul! Stuff like that happens.
