This is inspired by Bob Goekel's post with the picture of his nice new canoe fresh off the mould.

I have a mould that I made for a 17 1/2' Atkinson Traveller canoe designed by Rollin Thurlow. I built one canoe from this mould quite a few years ago and have spent many pleasurable days back in the woods with it (although it is now lanquishing in my garage because I was infected by big boat fever).

Twice I have loaned the mould to friends who were going to build another canoe, but neither one managed to push through to completion. The mould is now sitting under a ragged tarp in my son's backyard, needing a bit of rehabilitation, but I'm sure its perfectly useable.

So if you or anyone you know wants to borrow it, let me know. It's heavy and not particularly easy to transport.

Wilson: I very generous offer. Its very tempting. I'm not sure if I have enough brownie points with my wife right now. I think I'm going to have to complete a little addition on the house for her before it's safe to take on another boat...

Wilson,

If you don't get any takers here you might want to post this on the WCHA website ( http://www.wcha.org ). When I was in a similar situation I got some takers there for two canoe forms that were built by my Uncle (Atkinson Traveller and Cheemaun)
