You can tell much more about a person this way.

You should quit smoking. It's bad for your health.

Scott, I light fires in the woodstoves in winter, and in summer I often need to singe a bit of line so it won't fray.

        John, I wear a belt.

Of course this doesn't even count the stuff in my hip pouch: Wallet, calculator, Pocket Ref, small globe, fingernail clipper, another knife, pill box (in case of another kidney stone), string, whistle, electrical tape....

Oh yeah, my battery died the other day and I forgot to get it back into my flashlight and that back in my pocket.

Dan, I think it's time to spring for a new set of ear plugs.

Hmmm, there seems to be some redundancy in there....in the two side pockets of my pants:

                  One pencil
                  two swiss army knives
                  two tape measures
                  one short-handled screwdriver
                  one pair nail clippers
                  one scrunched-up American dollar
one watch, exactly like the one that's on my arm
                  one marrette wire connector
                  $3.39 in change
one small plastic disk from a kids' game
                  one empty pistachio shell

Oh look! I had forgotten that the Canadians have a dollar coin that actually gets used. That looks like a pretty heavy pick too.

I don't have a digital camera but ditto on the Leatherman Sideclip - best gift I ever got, use it every day I'm sure.
huisjen - we have a two dollar coin that gets used too. It can be amazing how much change can accumulate in your pockets, 5 coins and you can get a pack of smokes and still get fifty cents back. The bad news is the smokes are at least $9.50 a pack.

nude. Well, except for Margo's mascara.
