For better or worse we are a community. We bicker we fight, we razz and occasionally someone may say something that crosses the line. Scot is our community leader. Some have even suggested that a few formites run and tell Scot if they are slighted. I do not do that. I'm guilty as the best/worst of them in playing with fire.
Yesterday I felt like being political every so often I get an itch so I scratched it. Donn & I went at it pretty toe to toe. I thought it was all in good fun and I knew deep in my heart that Donn is a good sport and he can handle his own end.
Midway through the day MJC posted this 9/11 Memorial Services? (http://media5.hypernet.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=5;t=018169) I posted a sincere, heartfelt response to It. It was a hard thread for me to respond to since I have very strong emotions when it comes to that day.
Later on in the day on another silly Google yourself (http://media5.hypernet.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=5;t=018172) thread Donn used what I had posted in the 9/11 thread as a cut.
Maybe I'm wearing my heart on my sleeve again and over reacting to this but I think it was a little over the line. I wrote a nasty post on his gun thread but removed it quickly because two wrongs don't make a right and in the end it only hurts the forum. I emailed Donn privately thinking that he could amicably delete his post and I delete my response and we just move on sparing occasionally. This morning I see it is still up and my email has not been responded to. :(
We are a community and as such I go by the community's call. If you all say Joe get over it your being a sensitive jerk, I will gladly delete this thread. It just kinda affected me that's all and I couln'd just let it pass by.
