I will have no workshop, with tools in storage in our new smaller place in Bucks County PA. Are there any wooden boat builders in the area (closer than Maryland) who could help me bring my Wittholz Catboat to completion? She's the Corvis at 15' x 7.5' beam. My builder/helper in New england left off with cabin top, hatch, seats and floors needing to be done. Cabin beams are up and coaming is on. Then painting rigging and motor mounting also need done. I have sail, and 90 to 95% of necessary parts and materials. Thanks in advance for your input!

Get in touch with the Delaware River Chapter of the TSCA www.tsca.net/delriver/index.html (http://www.tsca.net/delriver/index.html)

Also check out the Wooden Boat Factory in Philadelphia http://www.woodenboatfactory.org/

There's a fellow within a stone's throw of the I78 overpass on the PA side who makes his own. Whether he'll be helpful I don't know, he sure wasn't for me! Get off at the first exit after the toll, go left, left again, down toward the river. He has a sign out. He was at Mystic last time I went.

Rob Barker in Easton is a professional builder, - South Cove Boatshop? but that may be to far.

You might have better luck finding someone in New England to leave it with . Come get it when it's done.

Where in Bucks County? I am in Pipersville, just north of Doylestown. I am unforunately a bit short on time and space, but I may be able to len an occasional hand. My barn has a Herreshoff 12 1/2 being re-finished so she can be sold ... her spot will be taken by a Herreshoff Buzzards Bay 15 currently being worked on by Gannon and Benjamin. When I get her back, she will be taking up most of my spare time. I have a table saw, radial arm saw, jointer, planer, and drill press if you need to use them. I would also check out the Philadelphia Wooden Boat Factory. It's in south Philadelphia, very near to the sports stadiums. The proprietor, Geoff McKonly, is very good and very accommodating.

South Cove, that's the one I was thinking of. Far as I know he only does his own, but it wouldn't hurt to contact him.

Excellent! I will be sure to follow up on those leads. Hopefully with luck, "Legacy" will be under sail on Lake Nockamixon before fall....
Thank you all and happy new year!!!
