Yep - not jumping on the beat Joe bandwagon - just in general, life is too short to be anything but postive, encouraging, being your best and encouraging all around you to be their best.

We raced today - not wood...& were the first looser by 18 seconds - could of had it if not for any one of a half dozen crappy tacks and going shrimping with the spinnaker... alas...

Point being every second of every life counts. Live, love, laugh, enjoy, sail, encourage, build up instead of tearing down.

AS much as we all, including me. beat up on Joe for harranguing others, IMPOOP it is Joe's right to do so. If I'm allowed to poke fun at any/everyone, if Donn is allowed to correct everyone's grammar, and spelling, if Jack is allowed to post ad infinitum posts about Sheba (MSRIP), if Karen is allowed to post constant drivel C/P from the neo-con right..... Why can't Joe post constant ascerbic rejoinders? This is part of being a community. If you don't like it you have your right to post that too, but don't expect that everyone will join you, or agree with you.

What I do object to, and I have the right to say so, still, is when someone is trying to be cock of the rock out of some internal desire to dominate. No cogent argument, no nuthin except too much testoterone.

Why should it matter, you ask? Well, I don't know, but it does. It poisons otherwise useful discussions, it is the lowest denominator. It carries matters away from their heart.

Perhaps mixed metaphores.... Perhaps not..... Take the phrase "Cock of the walk" and add in a little Maine colloquialism "Lawbstah". add a dash of rock & roll.... "Rock Lobster", and in the end you have a brandy new phrase.... "Cock of the rock"..... Works for me......
