Zimmer it has rang loudly across the WBF and it rings singularly for you.

Come to think of it...this sounds suspiciously like another troll to me.
On the off chance that it is not I will just say that given all the problems with it, I doubt that it would be cost effective to pay someone to repair the saw.

You, of no proper name, of no fixed address, and with no attributed boat-related experience nor professional credentials are refuting the experienced opinion of a professional designer who - like me - actively works with these types of problems a dozen or more times per year. At face value, this seems to be a losing proposition. Of course, you may well be a grizzled veteran of hundreds of boats and have the records and scars to prove it, but we'll never know if you hide that provenance from us.
A third possibility could be that you are who I think you are, and that you are restricted in posting under your real name. If so, I urge you to make your case clearly and without rancour, and we will all come away from the debate much the wiser.

No troll is an island, entire of itself; every troll is a piece of the forum, a part of the bilge. If a troll be chased away by the dwarves, WBF is the less, as well as if a woodenboat were, as well as if any boat of thy friend's or of thine own were: any troll's departure diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bell trolls; it trolls for thee."

Joe...usually you and I agree...but..Cedar has actually attempted..if he is a troll...to participate...
Now...the other one...well......Hasn't said or written anything to add to any thread...except to forment hostility..with his ultimate goal...destruction of anyone else's efforts or postings...
And he operates through lies and deceit...
At least cedar has not responded to his own threads...three times in a row to gain some reaction finally.

Ahhh, Joe, the bell trolls for thee.
A thread about nothing but trolls is, by definition, a troll. A post about not feeding trolls is by definition a troll.
Desperate attempts to make it "AAJ" are pathetically transparent. So is post-traumatic narcissistic disorder.
You've pulled this crap before, and so I choose to draw a line in the sand. Enough. Go with the flow or go below.

I agree Cedar has been a non trolling participant of this forum.
Cedar I would like to formally apologize, I know you used to be another screen name. But in your present Cedar Savage incarnation you have been a pretty cool dude. You may not like me but hey I'm not everyones cup o tea ;)
But understand Zimmer/ Dutch/ Mountain Momma/ Neville Striker / Nelson / etc. is a most dangerous kind of troll. Just ask Oyster ( a person I don't usualy agree with ) who I have seen first hand be ruthlessly stalked on this and OTHER forums. Ask Tar Devil, a nicer guy you could not find on this forum. Ask him about how he extended the hand of friendship to Zimmer/ Dutch only to have it bitten off and USED on another forum. Ask me who when I posted to crew on local racing on Sailing Anarchy site how he stalked me to that other site. This Zimmer / Dutch is no harmless troll and if let him get away with it he will stalk you too.

I would love to counter stalk Dutch until he/she/them was in the sights of my Barrett .50 up here in the bush. It's something that I'm terribly good at.
Remember when you defended him? Until, that is, he/she/them did a number involving Tess.
I don't like it that you and a few others, named as dwarves by the dearly departed demented Donn, can decide to mount a campaign to get rid of selected forumites. Zimmer is so far out there that he/she/them adds a little 'spice' to a forum that's duller by far due to the actions you and a small group of others carried out in the past.
I will counter post repeatedly to your anti-trolling campaign.

Ya missed acronym day in class didn't ya ? ;)
acronym
n : a word formed from the initial letters of a multi-word name
Maybe ol Zimmer uh I mean Dutch can help ya cause ya know know he is a professional educator :D :D
So Anyway, welcome back little Barry we missed you, Dutch was always complaining that I scared you off poor baby. Looks as though you grew a pair of gronicals so big that now you only seem to post rude comments. So how is that Canadian lifeboat of yours coming?
I even started a thread just for you up in B&R
Barry's Canadian Lifeboat Thread (http://www.woodenboat-ubb.com/cgi-bin/UBB/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=011837&p=) But you were so busy growing your gronicals so big that you must have missed it :D
Boy oh boy I must have really scared you off. Big Mean ol Joe - that would be BMJ is you want to try it as an acronym. I know it's a hard word but I have faith that with Dutch's professional education you will get it.
Bwaaaaaaaa ha ha :D

I'll admit to having a couple of chainsaws, but I don't carve with them. I do like to slice off large diameter, 2-3" thick pieces from the stumps and make outdoor casual tables. Some of the stuff I've done with spalted maple stumps is really nice.
That website is ugly, I don't have a website, the guy whose site it is is named Winner? - I'm C.D. Savage.
Why does the Reveredend think I'm MJC? MJC went ballistic one weekend and has not been seen since.
You dwarves crack me up sometime. Talk about starting with bad data and going from there.

Cedar...why is the web site on your profile...if it's not yours...don't understand...
It's titled " my profile " ( right up there on the top right ) meaning the member's profile..on the forum. Uusually, these profiles contain information on the member... Hence, a web site on it should be yours...
A little misleading don't ya think?
