Yup, but even so some progress was made...

Dave, here's the repaired, whole-hog hole saw, for your viewing pleasure.

The score: One out, one "drilled" to the ballast, but still tight as a drum, one drilled as deep as this rig will go (and boy was driliing in the deadwood easy in comparison to the keel itself)..

Of the remaining two, one will require removal of a portion of the cabin sole for access (I've started on that), but the other is so deeply buried that I think the Sawzall is already stirring in its box...

Matt, the anglique is still looking ok, I've got most of it wrapped in plastic, and will get more for the remaining bit soon.

Next weekend is Mother's Day...

Tell Mum we said Happy Birthday! Today was my Dad's birthday - #80.

Anytime there's progress, that's a good thing!

ooooohhh better clear that up!... the expression "old chook" is a term of endearment around my way... cant remember when I started calling her the "old chook"... I think it had something to do with her not really liking being called the "old duck" so I improvised... "Old cow" didnt gel really well got one heck of a sore behind when I tried that one on :( ... old sow? nah... serious thick ear country that  ... old mare?... nope she didnt seem to like that either  ... so figured on the "old chook" and it stuck! ... its my nickname for me mum! so I tends to call all mums the "old chook"... except Jo who is possompoop of course! :D ... no offence to anyones mum cause theyre the coolest people!

Take it easy
Shane

Ed, Say Happy Birthday for me.

Everyone should know that it was your Mom who directed the road trip of Pheonix after climbing up six feet into the cab of the semi.
