Pretty quiet here. I am amazed at the evidence of Hurricane Wilma...it's everywhere. Blue tarped roofs galore. A few folks I talked to here are upset that no one in the rest of the country seems to know about the Wilma damage and have focused instead on Katrina and Rita. The damage sorta of creeps into my consciousness...it's little things in a way. Stumps along the road edge, the back of sheet-metal roofs rolled up at the corners and a general "seedy" look, like maintenance is never done on the houses (but I'm becoming increasingly aware that these things are storm damage).
