Trees down
My daughter lives less than a mile away. Last night before bed time the power went out and this morning we looked at three trees down in one corner of her yard. She lost two panels of her stockade fence as well. I'll be running the chain saw for a while it seems. The wind is still blowing in gusts up to forty mph...The doctrine of nonresistance against arbitrary power, and oppression, is absurd, slavish, and destructive of the good and happiness of mankind.

My parents place had winds like that a few weeks ago. My poor boat lost it's canopy cover. The frame stayed but the tarp tooks off accross the fields. Dad and my brother in law had to go chase it down. I'm still looking for a better tarp to restretch over the canopy frame.Pet photography, the degree you get when you fail aromatherapy - Duck D. -
These are pine trees. They have a habit of breaking explosively when they let go. (missed their boat by about forty feet)The doctrine of nonresistance against arbitrary power, and oppression, is absurd, slavish, and destructive of the good and happiness of mankind.
