This week's lunch hour project is the anchor platform/bowsprit. It is laminated up from 1" wide teak planks laad verticaly. It looks pretty spectacular on the shop bench but now I have to add an AR-4 anchor roller, bobstay fitting, spinnaker tack fitting and a couple of stansion bases.

My first inclination is to inlay all the fittings so that the flanges are flush with the teak but that could produce low areas where water could settle. Inlaying would look better and be easier on the feet but I am concerned about that water. Maybe bedding them in 4200 would be enough.

Anyone have any suggestions?

We would go with the inlay. Use enough 4200 to assure water tightness in a dark color.
