I've tried every google combo I can think of. I need to find the Home Depot vendor for my area... His name is Mark (Marc?) Hartman (Hardtmann, Hartmann, Hertman...?) The person at HD that I've been working with is continuing to not return calls or E-mails, but the few times I have button holed her assures me that HD is going to send everything I have asked for, for the Tobago project...... I was supposed to have everything on a boat a month ago... I have (Thanks to the generosity of several forum members) purchased a substantial collection of safety gear, and other stuff I forgot to put on my HD request list.

Not as in DeWALT brings stock and puts it on the shelf, But as in Mark Hartman runs a company that tracks what certain HD stores that he is the vendor for, are selling, and stocks the stores independently from the HD hq in Atlanta... Not sure if I have it completely right....But that's the gist of it.

Does he represent specific manufacturers, or product lines? I know, in the past at least, HD used wholesalers known as "rack jobbers," who would stock fast moving product lines in regional warehouses, for re-stocking the stores, but I thought they had gone over to their own regional distribution centers.

What ever you do be polite and be extra polite to his secretary. Explain your plan, what's been promised by whom from home depot, and graciously praise their stores and service.

We know you're pretty good at persistence. Show em your mettle.

(resisted the urge to post stupid motivational poster here, you're one the few who would have "got it").
