I removed cabinets and trim, cabin sole and most of ceiling. Should finish removing ceilings today.Things are looking pretty good overall.
I found 2 frames with rot up high just below shelf/clamp where genoa track fasteners had been leaking. These frames are made up of 4 laminates and the inside layer seems to be the only part affected. Rescourcenol glue line seems to have checked it. My first thought is to scarph in new laminate to existing frame. The headers that support the side deck beams and cabin sides also have some areas of rot(1 bad area). These are also laminated pieces so I am going to try to remove inside layer of laminate and replace. Mast step needs a little attention. Someone cut out the sampson posts from the forpeak.
Overall still not bad.
I found silicon bronze screws to refasten garboards and below waterline at Standard Fastenings Co.I needed some #16x 21/2 and was having problems finding anything larger than#14.
They were fast and reasonable.

Kra, great looking project. I long for a big project to work on someday. Of course I'll have to win the lottery, move someplace with more water, build a shop, and get a big boat project! smile.gif

Will you post a picture of the outside?
