Unc...Jane may give the pup her full name, but you should be able to decide her call name. Are you getting a pet-level pup, or higher?
Is she going to require finishing her?
These breeders can be weird!

Fat, sassy, and in the midst of protecting me from our first real lightening storm. :D
I don't want to encourage her because I don't want her barking at every storm, but we just took a couple ones close to the house - close enough that the windows rattled - and she went into full protective mode - against my leg, facing the window, hair standing all the way up her back.

Donn...don't know and don't have an answer to any of your questions.
Jane is supposedly the one to determine the most suitable pup...and then I get to OKAY the choice.
So...as you know Jane...you can understand why I don't know for a while.
I do want a dog with four feet, a brain, a good temperment....

I'm going to ignore ignorant people this year. tongue.gif
I'm going to lose weight, get the heart surgery I need, and try to live a more healthy life style.
I'm also going to waste less time being angry about things I can't change and ,of course, finish the Lyman. :D

You need heart surgery Kevin? For what?

I'm recovering from the cardiac catheterization where they discovered some blockage last friday.
I'm getting angioplasty and stents this friday.
I hear it's no big deal nowadays.
My groin where they poke ya says otherwise. :D
Meerkat
01-02-2006, 08:32 PM
Angioplasty is a lot less risky and painful than the alternative: opening your chest.
Joe ( Cold Spring on Hudson )
01-02-2006, 08:34 PM
Best of luck Kevin. My prayers are with you,,,,,,,, and your Lyman ;)

Thanks Meer and Joe. smile.gif
Some good info on his website Meer.
I especially liked this quote....
" Sometimes patients even say that getting depressed or having a heart attack was a blessing in disguise since it motivated them to make changes in diet and lifestyle as well as getting clear about their own personal values; and they never would have experienced these if they had not gone through pain first. Not that we look for pain but there it is."

A good friend of mine had a heart attack last february, and they put three stents in. He was home in two days. He's fine.
Stop smoking if you are a smoker.
Good Luck Buddy... I know you'll be fine. ;)
