I really really hope we manage to avoid killing off all the pollinators. We won't be happy if we wipe them out.

Does it have human application? There's a few Bilge Rats that might benefit <G>

So- this was found in 100 year old hives. Why not a problem until now?

Our bees seem to be doing well, but the other insects, even the pests, seem way down. I wish I'd set up traps for census purposes a few years ago.

I've got a better idea.....

How about ending the GMOs and poisoning of our environment that is causing such a wide spread kill off of an untold number of organisms, including bees?

Trump has probably put a stop to that Rick. Do you know anything about bees? As in raise them?

What does this have to do with Trump? My gosh, you've got a hopeless case of TDS!

No, I don't know anything about raising bees. But, I'm fully aware of the devastation we are foisting on insects, butterflys and bees with some of our insane agricultural practices. Real environmentalists don't need to have that explained, they already know it.

Whee, Trump is busy! Sorry bees, you're just collateral damage!

The Trump administration is appealing a federal court ruling ordering (https://thehill.com/policy/energy-environment/401086-court-orders-trump-epa-to-ban-controversial-pesticide) the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to ban the pesticide chlorpyrifos.
Justice Department attorneys said that the San Francisco-based Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit violated both Supreme Court precedent and the underlying law when it ruled that former EPA head Scott Pruitt (https://thehill.com/people/edward-scott-pruitt)improperly rejected a petition in 2017 to ban a pesticide that has been linked to developmental and neurological disorders.
The administration is asking the full 22-judge court to rehear the case and overturn the ruling that came from a three-judge panel

So... is pesticides the primary problem? Is bacterial infection even an issue? Someone trying to blur the issue?
