Anyone got a happy saltwater though for me? It's a grey day and I've got a nasty meeting scheduled, and I'd love to hear your plans and hopes for a brighter future. (No pictures, please. Draw it in words.)

Oh Gideon lived across the bay
He's gettin' older now
His boat is big and strong and bold
She has a stalward bow
But my father's boat was second hand
One someone used before
And after every fishing trip
My father always swore
That someday he would save enough
To go to St. John's town
And buy himself a big new boat
A boat like Gideon Brown

In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
In the land of submarines

So we sailed up to the sun
Till we found the sea of green
And we lived beneath the waves
In our yellow submarine

Chorus:

We all live in a Black Fast Attack,
A Black Fast Attack,
A Black Fast Attack...

Sorry Nuther one I cant do poetry... well not like that!

But mental pictures I think I can paint okay so I will give it a whirl ;)

One fine hot summer morn in the not to distant future a happy pround ol phart will stand upon the white sand of the shores of the Indian Ocean the sun beaming brilliantly upon his curley locks while a gentle zephur of wind will disturb his white beard

A proud moment is about to occur as he stands with chest thrust out and eyes agleam a proud moment that has taken years to achieve he will look around and share a smile with his tiny wife and their huge brood on hoonberrys as he waves the slowly reversing cars with their boat trailers attached steadily backward into the blue azure waters

The gentle lapping as the transom and stern post nudge into the waters then the ever increasing slipping of the hulls of the trailers until finally they will sit upon the gentle lapping waves on their own bums for the first time

With twin bottles of good Jamaican rum in each hand the man will laugh and smile and splash their bows with the good oil of the gods and bless them both and all who would sail in them

And there will be a picture of the dingo upon the sails howlin to the stars and sun and moon as they billow and unfold then snap and take up as the boats surge on angels wings across the sparkling waters

And on that day... all will be well with the world smiles laughter and joyous occasions shall be had in the fartherest lands of the earth as the sign of the dingo stretches across the seas

How'd I go mate? ;)

I must go down to the seas again, for the call of the running tide
Is a wild call and a clear call that may not be denied;
And all I ask is a windy day with the white clouds flying,
And the flung spray and the blown spume, and the sea-gulls crying.

Fine little girl waits for me
Catch a ship across the sea
Sail that ship about, all alone
Never know if I make it home

Three nights and days I sail the sea
Think of girl, constantly
On that ship, I dream she's there
I smell the rose in her hair.

See Jamaica, the moon above
It won't be long, me see me love
Take her in my arms again
Tell her I'll never leave again

Louie Louie, oh no
Me gotta go
Aye-yi-yi-yi, I said
Louie Louie, oh baby
Me gotta go

Dingo, you're my hero. smile.gif

Dan, it was beautiful until I recognized it and John Belushi crashed into the picture wearing a toga . . .
