My favourite local brewery had a dark ale they called "Dark and Stormy Night," till lawyers got involved. There's somebody selling a rum based cooler or something in Canada under that name...

Now the craft brewer sells the same wonderful ale under the name "Cease and Desist." :D

There are several dark-n-stormy-in-a-can varieties available in the US.
None cool enough to have a bear on the label though.

You think the memoir will be titled "Sideways in Sitka"?

I can't seem to make the pictures right side up.

Anyhow, I'm working down here for now, but the family will be coming down too later in December, and we'll have some fun touring around.

The Dark and Stormy tasted a bit too medicinal.

Bundy (Bundaberg Distillers) is a cheap rum. They do a limited edition but I haven't tried it/

A friend used to own a brewery here in VT (Magic Hat). A competitor commented one day that he made real beer & Magic Hat was nothing but smoke & mirrors. A few months later they came out with a beer named Hocus Pocus & along the bottom it said "nothing but smoke & mirrors". It's since been changed from "nothing but smoke & mirrors" to "thanks, phil". Phil was the owner of the other brewery.

I used to drink Bundy overproof. When my Dad had the pub in Gwabegar he refused to carry overproof rum- he reckoned when the timber cutters drank it and started swingin punches he was too small and too old to break 'em up. JayInOz

:D "Slurred and ..."

..... if your'e low enough to get that far down south, there is a pub in Tassy referred to as the "Amble Inn and Stagger Out"!
Speaking from experience it's well worth a visit......
