Hi,

I've been here lurking and asking woodworking / rigging questions for work on our boat. This summer we finally decided on a name, had it measured for tonnage, and officially registered. Murielle has moved our website under the boats name: www.mimijane.ca (http://www.mimijane.ca)

We took a few pictures before the snow comes and it reflects the current state ( http://mimijane.ca/a-few-updated-views-of-mimi-jane )

I like this one with the wide angle lens.

Cheers,
Mark

Wow, that’s a big project. And Murielle designed her, too! Fantastic.

Hi ,

Yea, Murielle designed and pretty much built the boat by herself... I'm weekend hired help. We did look for a suitable design, but really couldn't find anything that made our hearts skip a beat (which we figure is the single most important criteria when looking for a boat). It's based on very traditional lines and well know scantlings, it's not like designing a high speed carbon fiber catamaran.

J - having a good location inspires during the build process. Your timber frame shop is just right. It is a bit big.... in hindsight... lol

Thanks for the nice comments,
Mark
