The President has been going around the country supporting Reps with campaign rallies.
The crowds at these rallies have been large.

Do you think the crowd size gives us an insight into the midterm election turnout?

Large is in the eye of the beholder. 5500 in Nashville runs about a quarter of what Bernie normally gets. But Graham will believe whatever Fox tells him.

That Trump is out stumping and that candidates view him as an asset is an important "tell" right now. To follow the media is to see an historically unpopular President that every candidate in his or her right mind ought to run from.

Isn't happening. Trump is the hottest thing going with Republican voters and all of these candidates are riding those coattails.

Trump is extremely popular with GOP voters. This says something really awful about GOP voters.

In ten years I bet they'll be like German citizens after WWll...when it was almost impossible to find any German who had supported Hitler.

I agree that most Reps like having the President support them with rallies.

FOX has let be known that coverage of trump rallies is No longer a priority. No one watches, ad revenues are low.

It's always the same 200 people bused from rally to rally, paid minimum wage to stare at a teleprompter and to cheer when it lights up.

I think voter suppression is likely going to determine the outcome of the mid-terms. Not crowd size, but cheating.

Looks like Texas will remain Red this year.

Title: Crowds gather early for a President Trump 'Make America Great Again' rally in Houston
HOUSTON-- Thousands of people are already lined up outside Houston's Toyota Center ahead of President Trump's visit.
They are waiting and hoping to attend President Trump's Make America Great Again rally Monday night.
Many Trump supporters camped out overnight and the line seems to keep growing outside the arena.
Because ticket requests for the event exceeded 100,000 and the Toyota Center only holds 18,000 people, the Trump campaign organized a tailgate ahead of the rally.
The tailgate includes food trucks, live music and appearances by Trump campaign spokespeople.
Trump's speech will also be shown on big screens outside the arena.

Title: President Trump's MAGA rally expected to draw thousands to Toyota Center
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Monday's "Make America Great Again" rally will bring a lot of traffic snarls for people who work and live in downtown Houston, and the crowd at the evening event is expected to be "huge."
The Trump re-election campaign, which sponsors the MAGA events held across the country, reported that 100,000 requests for tickets had been received by Sunday afternoon. Only 18,000 seats are available inside the venue.

i think that those who attend rallys, either denomination, will vote for the people they support no matter what. The election is not won or lost on those people, its the independents, the ones in the middle who will vote for whom they see as best, who win or lose elections for the candidate.

63,000 early voters in Harris County, TX today. Lots of cheers for Beto while the crowd waited...

those who attend rallies...

I think the rallies are a good measure of voter enthusiasm generally. Those attending are the hardcores but if you've got 100,000 wanting a ticket for an 18K venue, the obvious conclusion is that Trump is very popular with Republican voters and those voters are enthused.

Trump is doing rallies across the country, pushing all the right buttons. He may yet bring this thing in for the Republicans.

Barack Obama drew big, enthusiastic crowds and won twice easily.
Both Bernie and Trump drew big enthusiastic crowds while HRC had to put up dividers in hotel conference facilities to make the room appear filled.
Looks like the DNC and establishment democrats should have been paying more attention.
