. Some of you guys said you couldn’t wait to see it varnished so here it is.

I am thinking of using bead board for the ceiling, ,I know it’s just pine but it will be epoxyed to plywood
And get 2 coats of epoxy on the outside as well as paint so I think it will last as long as I will.
I am also going to cut away part of the rib in the middle of the cubbyhole next to the seat. That should be a good place to putdown sunglasses a book or a cold beer. .... smile.gif smile.gif Phil

Love the carving, and I love the shine on that seat, I recomend you keep a collection of soft slippers on board for visitors to wear though! :D

But now Banjo has upped the ante...He says "can't wait to see it in the water." So, can we expect to see that next week? :D

He's still got to finish carvin the rear cabin panels, might as well do the the wash boards too while he's there. Then there's the stem, maybe a few name plates port n starboard........
