The Classic Trawler Yacht Network ( www.classictrawlers.net ) is sponsoring a rendezvous of classic Romsdal and Malahide wooden hulled trawler yachts at the Center for Wooden Boats ( www.cwb.org ) in Seattle WA on April 5 and 6. Come see the largest gathering of these legendary vessels and meet Myles Stapleton the designer of the Malahides. Hear the stories and share in the discovery of the history of these vessels. The Ursa Major, Explorer, Lady Faye, Viking Fjord and others will be present. We hope to honor some Bill Garden trawlers as well. Come look at construction and share what these vessels are currently doing. Some are for sale, some are for charter, all are for preserving and enjoying!!!! We are excited and this will be the first official launching of the website but please stop by it and enjoy the history we have presented.
