How do you guys start your day like this ?

All this political arguing this early in the day.Its like an alcoholic getting up and having a beer for breakfast...YUCK !

Leon...after a quick review of my posts today...have not gotten into an argument...basically kept it simple...sourdough starter....presidential yacht....meer/Donn race....reagan...but just an observation.....next pres....just a comment...not an argument....
So...my morning is plodding along just fine....
Skipped most of the political threads...although I will admit...have read them....with continuing interest... :D

;) Jamie THAT'S why I posted the Meerkat and Don[n] contest. Cause Don[n] is the only one who counts posts. I remember last summer before you shoved off on Uncas he was counting how many you did a day. He just did the math on his monthly posts. He was the FIRST one to comment on Meerkat surpassing his amount, that's where I got the idea for the contest. He is the all about the stats. I find it funny smile.gif

Joe...as I previously posted...I don't care how many people have posted over time ....
I mean...if Donn...wants to take into account my travels on Uncas fine...doesn't really bother me...Actually it is funny.....
I was seriously gonna figure out how many he posts....taking into consideration the time off he had when Scotted...which I had nothing to do with...of course...as I was away sailing...
I have no trouble with Donn...but this is a case where he should make sure the back door is closed....before est. the number of posts I have made...and calculating into the math...time away...
Again, I have nothing against Donn...he has given me some good advice...on some things and I have appreciated them...

I've been here 3 1/2 years and this is #313 for me. I can't claim total quality on all my posts. I do like to have fun, so I tend to play a bit. But you've not seen me outright attacking someone or belittling someone just for the sake of quantity or the need to spout. On the other hand, I really enjoy the antagonism that some other members display towards each other and I'm not totally averse to egging it on from time to time. :D
