I'll start with a novel i just finished, the first of a trilogy called The Border this one called 'All the Pretty Horses' by Cormack Mccarthy (sp?)....the author of The Road. That was a weirdly dystopian and unsettling novel that for once made a great film. This is a subtle exploration of all our fears and and feelings about the passing from adolescence to adulthood set in a strange , to a european , Texico setting in the forties.
Ive just bought the next two of the trilogy( pubd c 1993) off Amazon for one penny. plus postage . ......?? how does that work !!??

Anyway tell us your recent favourites........
