I was at the airport a couple of weeks ago and saw a couple of young Army dudes wearing Trump T-shirts. People sneered but no one said or did anything. I half wish somebody had tried.

If you believe it to be true, but it turns our not to be true, it doesn't mean you have to stop believing it. You can just make up a story and post it on facebook. That way, other people will believe it too.

Berkeley is pretty unique. About the only thing they hate there is hate, and they will use violence to squash hate. Or nudity. Hehe.

Gilman is a pretty good example of the Berkeley vibe, I think. Everyone is welcome, as long as you are cool, and welcome everyone.

If not, you gotta go. :)

It is a very oddly intolerant tolerance, but it makes sense when you're there.

It's not a digression. The issue here is that right-wingers ignore information and misrepresent reality to support their increasingly unsupportable world view.

The CNN website works just fine. If you're having a problem with it, that's your problem.

But, I suspect you didn't have a problem with it at all. I suspect you didn't even attempt to find that story on CNN.com. You only said you did because you were trying to make a point and figured it would be easier to make that point if you didn't let the facts stand in your way.

It's just amazing. You guys just can't tell the truth about anything. It's like lying has become the default setting for right-wingers in all situations.

I even thanked twopoint for assistance he provided for me in that aspect.

I mentioned it because I did try, as previously stated, and find the report on CNN.

Your suspicions as to what I did and why are entirely incorrect.

As to facts standing in ones way, I pointed out that 'When I read the CCN and the Fox news reports I found it difficult to believe that they were reporting the same event.:D' given the political slant that they both gave on the same matter.

Nevertheless, you are entitled to believe what you will (kinda like the "right-wingers ignore information and misrepresent reality to support their increasingly unsupportable world view" ) and cast aspersions, however incorrect on fellow forumites and thereby malign them, me in this instance.

I on the other hand shall endeavor not to deliberately cast mud in your direction.

What a snowflake.

He went to a protest and observed some people yelling.

No one touched him. No one hurt him. No one ran him over with a car, hung him from a tree, sicced a dog on him or poured acid on him. No one put him in a concentration camp, or a gas chamber or an internment camp.

The worse anyone did to him is say they might take his cell phone.

And he says, "In my opinion, these people dressed in black are just as hateful and intolerant as the people they are protesting against."

Man, he has no idea what real hate and intolerance is.

Threaten to touch his cell phone and he thinks you're as bad as a Nazi.

How hard did you actually try? On my browser, the search icon on FOXNews.com looks nearly identical to that on CNN.com. So if you could find one, I suspect you could find the other.

Did it ever occur to you that you were most likely wrong?

I mean, if you pick up a map of the US and find yourself unable to locate the eastern seaboard, which is most likely -- that a professional cartographer somehow messed up... or that you need to turn to page 2?

Don't wear the damn hat in Berkeley, Gloucester.
In British slang, “to trump” (intransitive verb) also means to expel gas through the anus — e.g. Trumped from eating too much baked beans — often in a highly audible way (as in with trailing sound).

How hard did you try? It certainly could not have been very hard, unless you are very, very unskilled at using the internet.

The issue isn't really that you claimed you tried and claimed you couldn't find it. The issue is that you then used that to advance the argument that CNN is biased and unfair.

Now that you know that you were mistaken, have you given up on that argument?

Really, we need to do a whole thread on this.

But the issue here is deeper than just your inability to use modern technology. The issue here is that, even while admitting your inability to use modern technology you still assert your beliefs based upon your improper use of modern technology.

It's like the guy who can't do algebra claiming he solved Fermat's last theorem. And then after it's been shown that he can't do algebra, he's still claiming he solved Fermat.

My last correction of your errors. Your post 'statement' is incorrect.

Amazed at your continued ludicrously puerile efforts to try and postulate while making and using incorrect imagined assumptions and thereby coming up with ridiculous and incorrect theories to support your continued paltry efforts to attack me. :dY>:d

Don't get upset with me, man. You're the one who made a mistake. I'm just trying to make sure we understand what that was. If I'm having difficulty understanding you, perhaps you should make an effort to make yourself more clear.

Suffice to say: You couldn't find it on CNN. It was on CNN and everyone else could find it. So if anyone here is in the wrong, its you, not me.

And I'm not just being pedantic. If you have reached certain conclusions based on a belief you have, then discovering that the belief is erroneous ought to make you stop and reevaluate your conclusion. So this isn't just about whether you know how to use google or CNN.com. It's about whether you're capable of fairly evaluating any information and arriving at supportable conclusions.

It seem to me that Berkeley and many other US cities people will attack you for just wearing a Trump Hat.

I cannot imagine why any Texan named Jimenez would be so provoked by a Trumpist sporting a MAGA hat.

Your mob has been busy sowing the wind. Now you express dismay by the whirlwind.

Is there a medical name for this condition where people dig up things where they've made themselves look stupid so they can do it all over again... or are we witnessing a new devolution of the red psyche?

You appear to be the one getting upset with me.

How many times do I have to tell you "I couldn't find it on CNN" when I searched at that time. I am sure that in stating that I made that extremely clear.
If you continue to have difficulty in understanding that, well that's your problem, not mine.

As to the remainder of your attacking post, I won't dignify it with a further response.

Wearing a trump hat marks you as a fool. Wear it anywhere you want to advertise this.

I was at the airport a couple of weeks ago and saw a couple of young Army dudes wearing Trump T-shirts. People sneered but no one said or did anything. I half wish somebody had tried.

How did you know they were Army dudes? Were they wearing Army Dude hats?

Do you think that "maga" will have the same connotation as "Gott Mittuns"?

Might survive Berkeley, but definitely not Oakland.
