    Just how unpopular is Trump?

    Pretty damned unpopular.

The new Quinnipiac poll shows what most other recent national polls show: President Trump’s approval numbers are at or near all-time lows.
But a deeper look into Quinnipiac numbers shows something even more striking: 55% of Americans stronglydisapprove of Trump. The intensity of negative feelings towards the president are not like anything we’ve seen for recent presidents. It’s not that voters dislike Trump, they despise him.

Potentially even more consequential is that Trump has fallen to just 76% approval among Republican voters and he’s at just 43% approval among non-college educated white voters.
"Reason and facts are sacrificed to opinion and myth. Demonstrable falsehoods are circulated and recycled as fact. Narrow minded opinion refuses to be subjected to thought and analysis. Too many now subject events to a prefabricated set of interpretations, usually provided by a biased media source. The myth is more comfortable than the often difficult search for truth."
