Toured the shop in the morning which was wicked cool, then went to lunch with him and forum member Dan McCosh and talked boats all afternoon. It was great. In addition to these boats, the front of the shop did some very high tech carbon/kevlar composite work for the auto racing and aviation industries - sorry no pics of that. . .

Oh, I guess I should mention this shop is in the Motor City!

There's going to be a "test event" for vessels similar to the one pictured here in Guntersville, Alabama this weekend (June 17th). I'm planning to watch part of it.
