because i can think of instances where not for profit organization have lobbied on behalf of society, think the environmental lobby

its very difficult to think of examples where a corporation has lobbied the govt for any other reason than there own profit motive at the cost of society

Non-profits are held to very strict rules of Disclosure.
Any member of the Legislature who didn't know this guys schtick is a moron, and didn't practice due diligence.
