With the misplaced idea that a forward air tank in my new "walkabout" build was relatively unimportant and could be primed with interlux prekote one part expoxy primer that had been on the shelf for a long, long time, I created a massive headache. One week of balmy weather later, paint is still sticky and needs to be removed. Sanding is a bad option as paper just gets clogged. Is this an Acetone job? Interested in suggestions- thanks. Like to knock this out tomorrow as it's time to get this one launched.

It's an air tank... ignore it.
Did you paint it over epoxy blush?

..Any chance you may have confused "404, epoxy primekote" with "Pre -Kote"?
pre-kote is not an epoxy
The cans look alike
If 404 was put down without the 414, it would not dry.

it was old primer and Wizbang you are correct, it is not epoxy based- think I got the blush so don't think that's the problem. Interlux 333 solvent seems to be the answer- thx for your responses.
