It lasted a long time, stopped lighting up after the third time it went thru the wash but still held it's own until this spring when it suddenly developed "Fall-apart-itis" of the fabric. The "leather" backstrap LONG ago died and I replaced it with a neat piece of knotting in teeny thread.

Thanks, Lefty and VirginGal... these were an investment that really paid off in fun.

People always asked about the logo.

Mine's still pristine. Of course it's in its shrine.

I'm a West-Coast style hippie... "Drop it and DO something", rather than a "Leary" style, "Set and setting" dude. Gimme pizzaface and the teddybear crowd. I got no shrines left. It WAS fun while it lasted!

I was afraid to wash mine. I'll put it in the next load. I still have both my laughing polar bear caps.

I still have and use mine :) It's been the perfect item on night watches.

I upgraded to a five LED when the two LED failed me. Still, it got a LOT of use before the fabric disintegrated. (You should see the back stitching! Salt sweat and sun do not contribute to long cotton fabric life.

Maybe protect the next one with shellac, oil, paint, or varnish?

Boat soup...

Yup.

Throw in a generous dash of DEET, and you have the world by the tail, boys.
