Listen to what's in his heart, not his words.

White House adviser Gary Cohn on Friday clarified a criticism President Trump made about Germans, in which he reportedly described them as "bad, very bad."

"He said they're very bad on trade but he doesn't have a problem with Germany," said Cohn, director of the National Economic Council, according to the White House pool report, from Taormina, Sicily.

He said his dad is from Germany. He said, 'I don't have a problem with Germany, I have a problem with German trade,'" Cohn added.
During a meeting with European leaders in Brussels on Thursday, the president said, "The Germans are bad, very bad," meeting participants said, according to Der Spiegel.

The report quoted Mr. Trump also saying during the meeting, "See the millions of cars they are selling to the U.S.? Terrible. We will stop this."

Thousands of protesters carrying effigies of Donald Trump marched through Brussels on Wednesday (24 May) after the US president arrived for talks with the EU and NATO.

“Trump not welcome,” said banners waved by the crowd, which police said numbered around 9,000. Organisers put the size of the demonstration at 12,000. “He called Brussels a hellhole and yet he comes here like a conqueror,” left-wing protester Yannick Blaise told AFP.

Trump sparked fury by deriding the Belgian capital as a “hellhole” ruined by Muslim immigration in January 2016 — two months before suicide bombers killed 32 people in the city.

His Heart? Cheney, at least, had an artificial one. :D

You'd think SCROTUS would be happy with the way VW and Audi (who make lots of cars here) used their emissions computer cheats, but no... He needs to say something that were we were on the continent in another time, would be cause for war.

Fortunately, the old grey back is going to find himself to be lion food soon.

Donald Trump is not fit to be president of the United States (http://www.spiegel.de/international/topic/united_states/). He does not possess the requisite intellect and does not understand the significance of the office he holds (http://www.spiegel.de/international/world/clinton-campaign-chair-john-podesta-on-president-trump-a-1146317.html) nor the tasks associated with it. He doesn't read. He doesn't bother to peruse important files and intelligence reports and knows little about the issues that he has identified as his priorities. His decisions are capricious and they are delivered in the form of tyrannical decrees.

He is a man free of morals. As has been demonstrated hundreds of times, he is a liar, a racist and a cheat. I feel ashamed to use these words, as sharp and loud as they are. But if they apply to anyone, they apply to Trump (http://www.spiegel.de/international/topic/donald_trump/). And one of the media's tasks is to continue telling things as they are: Trump has to be removed from the White House. Quickly. He is a danger to the world.

Trump is a miserable politician. He fired the FBI director simply because he could. James Comey had gotten under his skin with his investigation into Trump's confidants. Comey had also refused to swear loyalty and fealty to Trump and to abandon the investigation. He had to go.

Has there ever been such a shallow POTUS?

US president said his view of Europe was based on experiences trying to do business, according to account of Brussels meeting.

“He made a lot of references to his personal journey. He explained, for example, the functioning of Europe on the basis of his difficulties in doing business in Ireland,” one source told the Francophone paper.

A second source told the newspaper: “Every time we talk about a country, he remembered the things he had done. Scotland? He said he had opened a club. Ireland? He said it took him two and a half years to get a licence and that did not give him a very good image of the European Union. One feels that he wants a system where everything can be realised very quickly and without formalities.”

The paper reports: “Donald Trump had no idea of the economic weight of Belgium and even less of what the country represents for trade with the United States. Then he was introduced to the thing in a very visual way. But the president only gave vague attention to it.”
