View Full Version : Surgery - Ouch.

Recovering from (potential) Basal cell removal in two of locations on lower back, now sent for examination/testing.

Asked the Dock to take the full wack with a good margin now, rather than do a 'biopsy' and then have to go back again.

Local anesthetic, the medication going in hurt the most, so it was not unduly arduous, but it is nor wearing off, thus a minor 'Ouch'.

It is good to get these things checked out.

Good luck with the fast recovery.

Sunscreen or cover - this is a good reminder. Here's hoping the labs come back "negative".

Me too.

At the very least it has been removed.

My father had deep melanoma on his back. It took a plastic surgeon to remove it right and they removed a lymph gland just to make sure it hadn't spread. The skin on the back is tight, which makes it a bit more uncomfortable.

My melanoma was under my arm - few shots, some cutting, did it a 2nd time for more margin, and not a problem.

I hope it all turns out well.
