A mate of mine has a model builders metal lathe and other specialized equipment! Very impressive gear and obviously what is needed to make quality like that in these pics. Remarkable!!!

I have never seen miniatures of this caliber.

They look "real", which models rarely do.

I am simply amazed.

Incredible craftsmanship!

I agree the Hind is not aesthitcally pleasing, but it does make for an excellent subject matter.

what are the grooves in the rotors leading edge for?
do other helicopters have them?
