Looks a lot like a car i see around Chch, very original, nice patina, even has the steering wheel on the left

in sourcing parts for the Ghia I've been pleasantly surprised by how inexpensive most things are in the airhead world.... except wheels. Just the wheels on that one are good for $5k in some circles.

and yes, prices seem to be going to the sky for an old Porsche in any kind of solid condition.

Car above is an old mans car. It sits in a collection of other dusty cars with old affluent dudes drinking scotch telling each other war stories..
Now this is an airhead in burnt orange of same vintage in a spot across from where Porsche is parked.

Can't a guy of the same vintage get a glass without a fly in it. As for 50, some very intelligent and thoughtful people say thats when it becomes even more interesting!

As for my boat... I really look forward to taking you sailing once i get her back in the yard and fix that port garboard BY:D
