I assume you've had Fareed Ayaz, Abu Mahammad and many others as a soundtrack to your life. I very much like this kind of music, and would love to know more about it. What's this particular song all about for a start? I would also assume, having attended the Jodhpur Riff music festival at the Mehrangarh Fort, that this is only one small sunset of a much larger cornucopia of other traditional/classical forms of music of Pakistan and India.

Of course, Duncan, I love flamenco, too. I told the class on the byob thread that I saw so much of Juan Serrano and his students while in college I got jaded. :)
Exceptional guitarists were literally swarming the music department of the school I went to last.
I often did drawings and plots outside where I could hear them practice.

Still. DEVO.

The most valuable part of this technology, to me, is that it allows me to learn about people I may never be able to meet. I am humble of means, you know, and there are two chances I'll get to Pakistan or Australia. Slim and Fat. :)

The personal touch, then, is what makes it. The filter of Syed, or Duncan, or Amish Rob, you know? These little conversations are what allow us to really know one another. And to realize we really are all the same.

So, thank you, again.

Peace,

Very true, I look upon people very differently now than I used to do before joining WBF (bilge).

Things are improving in Pakistan and I hope people will start travelling without fear.
