Hey guys...
There is no false advertising! Joe is the authentic "New Yorker", outspoken, opinionated and vacinated with a phongraph needle like me. He and I bonded, as if we have known each ather for life!

My poor husband and son's Godfather, just stood by and watched not believing, that I was just meeting him face to face for the 1st time!

Well, if he behaves himself I think that he may actually have a chance at this beautiful boat.

"DOVE" deserves to sail again on the Hudson River. She last was in White's Marina in New Hamburg , NY about 25 years ago, then she was trailer sailed for a short time and she has been in a carriage house (aka barn) for 20 years! I have convinced the owners, that she doesn't need to be in a museum on the hard, but with her bottom wet on my favorite river in one of the most scenic portions of the Hudson Valley and certainly the most historic!

Joe,

We drove down 9D through Cold Spring this am, instead of taking the Thruway, I miss that area so much, BUT I don't miss the SNOW, we boogied out of there as the flakes started to fall or we might have stopped by your office.

Your PM is full so I can't email you and the Reachbutter address is no longer in working order...so call me at home! in AM!

Well, those of you who want to see a photo of
'Dove' will have to wait until she is out in the sunlight, and out from under a mountain of stuff...as for a photo of Nora, well that shall remain a mystery for a bit longer (when I am 50# lighter) ;) !

Well goodnight all I have been up since 5am and on the road since 10 this morning so I am going to say good night!

Regards to All!

It was a real pleasure to meet you and Dave and Alan and the little one smile.gif Nice time. I looking forward to contemplating how to take care of "Dove" should I be lucky enough to acquire her.

Hey Joe,

Check out the Nora Lee Project Thread!!!

You are no longer the only cross-dresser on this forum!!! Nauti-Noah just got a new set of Bibs, thanks to Oyster Mike and a mystery donor from Tenn. They fit me better than they probably fit him, in all the right places!

I definitely plan to make it to your Halloween Party this year.

My son is so excited that you will be restoring Dove, he wants to sail with you sometime too! He and I sailed on the HV Clearwater, when he was 10... we sailed from Garrison to West Point to South Street Seaport. You need to keep this in mind when Tess is 10. A child can sail as a volunteer with a parent or parents at 10 yrs old. All you have to do is be a memeber and pay a small stippend to work hard and have fun for a week that you will never forget! It was a super experience! I was between Radiation and Chemo for breast cancer at the time...and it worked!!!

When I sail with you the first time I think I will ssail in my new Bibs, I never knew they were soooo comfortable! I will be in Nauti-Noah garb!

I will be up there in June for a Gospel Cruise on the Rip Van Winkle, I am going to be 'in clown'!

Talk to you soon...!

Regards,

Nora Lee

Hey Wid Dingo...don't go to the 'Dove'thread or you are going to get real jealous that you weren' closer to me and I could have elected you the receiver of a wonderful boat!

Joe doen't realize that I choose him specially for this project. Kind of selfish though cause Cold Spring and there abouts is my favorite spot on the Hudson to sail, it is one of the trickiest ( World's End and all that) but one of the most picturesque, it looks like you are sailing on the Rhine!!! and since I've never been there Cold Spring is close enough for me!

Joe start a thread about Worlds End, with pics and description about the tide, and current etc. I will add my story about anchoring by the Bear Mountain Bridge when a novice sailor on our O'Day 22 in 1973!!!

Gotta get ready for church... I promised Norm some prayer time at the altar of Riverside Methodist Church, it has a pipeline to the clouds!!!

Naut-Noah has to go!!!

Those pics will be coming some time beginning of week if I vcan figure how to post, if I can't is there someone out there I can email them to and they can post for me???

Regards,

Nora Lee
