Someone above brought up the idea of sailing with jibs and kites, which of course, doesn't work on a w/l course. The only active fleet that I know of that uses jibs in in Antigua, which they do because it makes the boat easier to sail in heavy air. That's a really neat picture. I have only seen a couple of boats with the long coachroof, both of which I sailed on.

I could almost make a case for that being Puget Sound with Jefferson Head in the left background. The sailors' clothing looks somewhat more modern than the boats. Does anyone know sail number 13? Mick, are there any long coachroof dragons in Seattle?Comment
