Now see if those two stick thingies were not in the way of those ring thingies from going all the way to the top of the mast, it wouldn't need that funny little sail on top of the big sail. In fact it would probably be easier to have one triangular sail in place of those two. And there's a big gap between the railing and the top of the hull, you could get your toes jammed in there, not good. And another thing...

Man that is an awfully smooth hull. I have a hard time believing that is carvel-planked, I'm guessing cold-molded, or glassed.

Thats the first time I have seen a half model with that grain orientation.The real boat has very fair topsides so clearly the builder had a good idea of how it should be done.
